We offer two federally insured, member-owned credit unions -- the North Carolina state chartered Self-Help Credit Union (SHCU) and the federally chartered Self-Help Federal Credit Union (SHFCU).
SHCU and SHFCU offer competitive rates of return and a safe place to invest money, along with a range of responsible financial products and services for the benefit of members. Deposits held in SHCU and SHFCU are separately insured up the the maximum limit of deposit insurance.
SHCU and SHFCU operate a number full-service credit union branches in North Carolina and California, respectively, offering typical branch services including deposit accounts and consumer loans, teller services, drive-through and ATM access, and more.
