Can I join your credit union?
Yes! There are 2 ways to join depending on where you live. We have multiple locations in North Carolina and California.
- If you live, work
or worship near one of our branches you can open your account at the branch. Find your nearest branch.
- If you don’t live near a branch and want to open a deposit account, you can apply online.
To open a checking account you will need to print an application and mail it back to us. We can also mail an application to you.
If you do not live near a branch, you can join by paying a one-time membership fee of $20 to our Center for Community Self Help. You can also read more about us and our work.
What services do you offer?
Checking - You can get FREE checking with:
- A recurring direct deposit of at least $25 or
- Signing up for e-statements or
- Combining your checking with a CD of $5000 or more
- $5/month maintenance fee if you cannot meet any of the above requirements
Savings – there is no cost to open a deposit account. We have CDs, IRAs and money market accounts with various terms and rates.
Debit Cards – no monthly fee with access at all CashPoint locations as well as those in the Co-op Network. There is a $1.00 charge for cash withdrawals in excess of 6 per month.
Credit Cards – for an application call 1-800-966-7353.
Online Banking – Free to members. Contact your local branch or call 1-800-966-7353.
Bill Pay – Free with any 2 of the following 3 products.
- E-statements
- ATM or Debit card
- Direct Deposit
Loans – we offer consumer, home and business loans. To apply, please visit one of our branches or call our toll free number 1-800-966-7353.
Mobile Banking – we are working to provide mobile banking and expect to offer this service soon.
