Proposed Amendment to Eligible Census Tracts

Summary of Proposed Amendment:

In order to respond to rising demand for our financing products from targeted neighborhood stabilization efforts, Self-Help has proposed to modify the list if census tracts included in the target geography of our NSP2 grant award.  In our efforts to serve the six markets identified as our target geography on our application (Chicago, Atlanta, New Haven, and the Los Angeles, Bay Area, and Northern Central Valley areas of California), we have identified a number of NSP- eligible projects in need of immediate and short-term financing that are within these markets but located outside of out designated census tracts.

The following table lists the tracts we are seeking to add to our target geographies as well as the areas we are planning to remove to offset these additions. The complete request can be found here.
