What: Self-Help Federal Credit Union’s Fresno Branch Grand Opening!
When: Thursday, November 19, 2015, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Where: Self-Help Federal branch, 5150 E. Kings Canyon Road, Fresno 
Why: Celebrate the branch’s Grand Opening!

Fresno – Self-Help Federal Credit Union and Fresno EOC are hosting the Grand Opening of Self-Help’s Fresno branch this Thursday November 19 at 5:00 pm. The two groups have come together to provide Fresno residents a full service credit union focused on serving low-income and otherwise underserved residents.   

While over 80 banks and credit unions have Fresno offices, only four are located in southeast Fresno. By contrast, most of Fresno’s payday lenders are located in the southern half of the city. Self-Help Federal’s Fresno branch will help ensure that low-income families, people of color, and other underserved groups have a fair and affordable alternative to meet their banking needs.
