We have invested over $62 million in redeveloping buildings in downtown areas all across North Carolina and in Washington, D.C., creating almost 600,000 square feet of affordable office space for small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

We target neglected yet prominent buildings—often structures that private developers would not consider—in locations that are critical to a city’s revitalization.  We approach building renovation comprehensively, as partial renovation rarely creates significant revitalization momentum.  For historic buildings, we strive to preserve important architectural features and character while modernizing space for tenants and their clients, customers and visitors.
