Full Service Credit Unions
Since 2004, Self-Help Credit Union has merged with the following community credit unions to provide responsible consumer financial products and loan services to North Carolina communities.
Wilson Community Credit Union (Wilson, NC)
Scotland Community Credit Union (Laurinburg, NC)
Cape Fear Credit Union (Wilmington, NC)
In 2008, Self-Help Federal Credit Union was chartered as an affiliate of Self-Help to increase access to responsible and affordable financial services in underserved communities, initially in California. Since that time, the following credit union has become a division of Self-Help Federal Credit Union:

All financial products and services offered through these full service credit unions are available to:
- Local residents and employee groups within the counties and immediate geographic service areas of each full service credit union.
- Any member of the Center for Community Self-Help.
Self-Help continues to operate seven other branch offices throughout North Carolina, as well as branch offices in Washington, DC, and Oakland, California. With few exceptions, business loans also are limited to North Carolina (see the Business & Nonprofit Loans section of this website for more details).
