Self-Help makes competitive loans to minorities, women, rural residents, low-wealth families and others who cannot find fair financing elsewhere. We offer a range of loans designed to meet the varied needs of our borrowers. 

If we feel our loan terms are not in the best interest of the client, we will refer them to another lender.  If we cannot help out now, we will provide a homeownership or refinance action plan to make the applicant more credit-worthy.  Our goal is to make a loan that the homeowner can comfortably pay, so they will build equity and avoid foreclosure.
