Self-Help savings accounts allow you to make a deposit in a federally insured institution, earn a competitive rate of return, and support Self-Help’s community development work.
- No minimum balance to earn dividends (interest)
- Withdrawal by phone, internet, or mail. ATM card available
- Automatic monthly deposit from another bank account is available

Youth Savings - Use this account to contribute to your child’s financial future and get them in the habit of saving.
- Primary membership is in name of child, adult custodian controls funds until child reaches at least 18 years of age
- Fill out separate custodian form and include with your application.
- No minimum balance to earn dividends (interest)
- Withdrawal by phone, internet, or mail.
- Automatic monthly deposit from another bank account is available.
(the equivalent of the FDIC for credit unions) up to the $250,000 limit.
