Make payments on your Prosper loan

Congratulations!   You have successfully received a Prosper loan!  After the loan amount is deposited into your account, you may now repay your payday lenders.  Please repay your payday loans immediately.  Make sure you save the receipts from your payday lenders when you repay the loan.  Call Self-Help at 510-379-5535 to tell them that you  have repaid your payday loans and send or fax them your receipts.  Self-Help would like to hear your thoughts on the Payday Loan Escape program so they will have a few questions for you when you call.

Please spend time on Prosper's help page to learn more about managing your loan.  You will be responsible for repaying the monthly loan installments and for any failed payment or late fees.  You must repay the loan within 36 months.  You always have the option of paying early without any penalty. 

Your timely repayment of the loan is very important, as it will help you improve your credit record which will, over time, enable you to access more and less expensive financial services.  Your timely repayment also impacts the reputation of the Self-Help Group and the ability of others to borrow as a part of our group.  As our Group reputation improves, other Group members will be able to borrow at a low interest rate.  If you run into problems paying your Prosper loan, please contact CCCSSF (800-777-7526) for advice on establishing a monthly budget that allows you to pay your loans. 

The goal of Payday Escape is to help you escape the payday debt trap so you can use your hard earned cash to pay for basic living expenses and save for the future.  We are delighted to have you participate in our group and hope that your repayment of loans will enable us to expand the program to other borrowers.
