Who is eligible to join Self-Help?

Geographic eligibility

You are eligible for membership if you live, work, worship or attend school in any of our eligible counties.

In other words, if you have a branch nearby, you are most likely eligible.

Employer or family eligibility

You are eligible to join the credit union if you work for one of the employer groups we serve, or if you have a family affiliation. Call our member support center for more information on this option.

Mission-supportive eligibility

Members of the Center for Community Self-Help are eligible to join the credit union. The Center is a nonprofit membership organization that supports communities with research, policy advocacy and technical assistance. You can join the Center by visiting any credit union branch.
