Community Engagement & Partnerships

Our Partners at Front Porch Housing gathers outside their building on Cleveland Street in Greenville, S.C.

Building strong, lasting relationships in the communities we serve.

Through national and local partnerships and strategic initiatives, we are able to listen, respond, and show up consistently to support ownership and economic opportunity across our communities.

National Partnerships

National partnerships allow us to create impact at a large scale that is accessible to people across the country. Some of our national partners include:

National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB)
  • Our collaboration is focused on housing and wealth building
  • We sponsor training initiatives through their Developers Academy
  • We also find ways to engage with local chapters
United Negro College Fund (UNCF)
  • We are collaborating to develop a CDFI coalition for HBCUs
  • We work with regional offices to help improve engagement
NAACP
  • We participate and support their national convention
  • We work to align with their advocacy and policy priorities

Strategic Initiatives

Strategic initiatives directly impact our members and communities and support economic opportunity. A couple of our high-priority initiatives include: HBCU Promise+ Legacy Program

HBCU Promise+ Legacy Program
  • We have developed this program to strategically strengthen historically Black colleges and universities
  • Our three-pillar approach focuses on affordable capital, campus accelerator programs, and financial literacy and wealth building.
Business Train Program
  • We're providing continued support for small businesses through coaching, tools, and partnerships (like the Women's Business Centers)
  • We're prioritizing education through Procurement 101 events
