Apply to get preapproved for a loan

That means we’ll determine how big a loan you qualify for. Once you’ve been preapproved and know your budget, you can search the Electrify ABC marketplace to find a participating contractor.

In the application, enter any amount for Loan Amount and enter your preferred term length (60, 120 or 180 months) for Loan Term.

Find a participating Electrify ABC contractor and get a bid for your project. We will ask you to submit the bid along with your loan application.

Ready to apply?

Here’s what you’ll need:

A copy of your driver's license or other ID.
Proof of income: your most recent paystub (for W2 earners) OR copies of your last two tax returns (for self-employed people).
Mobile-home owners only: A copy of your DMV registration as proof of ownership, if the home is not on a permanent foundation.
If you already have a bid from an Electrify ABC participating contractor, you’ll need a copy of the bid.
If you are not already a Self-Help Credit Union member, you'll need to become one. The loan application will walk you through it. You'll need to open a deposit account with an initial deposit of at least $5.
