Personal Checking

Both checks and a debit card are available with our personal checking account, which comes with these features:

  • No minimum deposit to open an account
  • Unlimited ATM and in-branch withdrawals
  • Low monthly fee of $5 (see below for ways to waive the fee)

How to Avoid the $5 Monthly Fee

  • Be 65 years of age or older
  • Be 24 years of age or younger
  • Have monthly combined direct deposit(s) of $500 or more into one or more Self-Help CU accounts
  • Maintain an average daily balance of $2,500 or more across all of your Self-Help CU accounts (checking, savings, certificates, etc.)
