HBCU Promise+ Legacy Program

Launched in 2025 to strengthen institutional support based on direct insights from HBCU Presidents and Board members. Targets priorities identified by HBCUs: capital access, national partnerships, operational stability, and financial literacy.

Our 3-Pillared Legacy Approach:

Pillar 1: HBCU Legacy Fund

  • Direct lending for construction projects, expansion, and operating needs
  • Creative financial advising for operational excellence and strategic growth

Pillar 2: Legacy Accelerator Program (HBCU-LAP)

  • Cohort of select HBCUs receive targeted assistance for campus needs and Shared Success collaborative venture partnership
  • Consultation on topics operational excellence to real estate and energy revenue generation and advancement strategies, -- all reducing accreditation risk and increasing financial resilience
  • Designed for HBCUs, whether seeking immediate stabilization, mid-term borrowing capacity planning, or long-term growth strategy support
