Self-Help operates two separate credit unions: Self-Help Credit Union, which is chartered at the state level, and Self-Help Federal Credit Union, which is federally chartered.
The two credit unions serve different geographic areas. Otherwise, they are very similar: they have the same mission and offer largely the same products and services at the same rates. In both credit unions, we are committed to investing in our local communities and serving our members.
Self-Help currently has multiple websites, including both www.self-help.org and www.self-helpfcu.org. On September 16, we are transitioning to a single, unified website under the www.self-help.org URL to better represent who we truly are: a family of nonprofit organizations united by a shared mission of creating and protecting ownership and opportunity for all.
